My DANA C.O.P.O. Corvair was shown on the FOX SPORTS SOUTH TV NETWORK AT 11.00 am.

It will be shown again on Monday at 4 pm.

It's great that our Corvairs are getting more attention from the media, and i hope they will get more of them in the future.

Just to be certain that I have the right show, is it a 30 minute show called the LOKAR Car Show? (FSSOHD, DirecTV channel 646) There are several Fox Sports South channels on DirecTV but scheduled programming is unspecified on the other channels on Monday at 4:00pm. I want to set my DVR to record the program with your Corvair on it, but I need more details about the specific show it will be on! Thanks!

I know COPO stands for "CENTRAL OFFICE PURCHASE ORDER" and was used on vehicles that were "special" somehow from standard RPO (REGULAR PRODUCTION OPTION)- for instance the Police cars were COPO. What does it mean on your car - was it ordered by Dana to test some of their products?

My corvair is a Dana / Yenko
Dana was the Yenko dealer on the West Coast
Only 3 Dana's were ever built
The Dana corvair's were built to Yenko C.O.P.O SPEC.'S
The Dana had a 4th C.O.P.O. A K-19 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM.

Growing up, I lived a few blocks away from Dana Chevrolet back in the 60's and it was on my walking route to elementary school everyday. Me and my friends would go into their showroom and buff our school shoes on their shoe-buffing machine in the showroom. LMAO The salesmen would give us that look like....."get outta here kid, ya bother me!" So weird to see now how significant Dana Chevrolet really was. That was also only about another mile away from the GM Plant in South Gate.

I think in the early 70's it turned into Prince Lincoln-Mercury and I remember seeing the new Capris there.
